'A BRIEF HISTORY OF MY TIME'

MY INTEREST IN PHOTOGRAPHY STARTED WITH AN INTEREST IN CHEMISTRY AT THE AGE OF TEN
AT THAT AGE I DEVELOPED MY FIRST FILM AND MADE MY FIRST DARKROOM PRINT

MY FIRST PRINTS WERE MADE FROM 6x9CM NEGATIVES ONTO KODAK VELOX PAPER USING D163 FORMULA DEVELOPER

AROUND 1975 I MOVED ON TO KODAK ROYAL BROMESKO CHLOROBROMIDE PAPER AS I WAS ALREADY GAINING A PASSION FOR WARM TONES

THROUGHOUT THE EIGHTIES I USED AFGA RECORD RAPID PAPERS, A GRADED CHLOROBROMIDE TYPE OF EXHIBITION PAPER
I WON COUNTLESS AWARDS WITH GRIMSBY PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY

MOVING INTO THE NINETIES I STARTED TO USE 5x4 INCH FILM AND A DE VERE ENLARGER WITH A COLD CATHODE HEAD

IN 2003 I HAD A FRONT COVER IMAGE AND AN EDITORIAL IN A LOCAL LINCOLNSHIRE MAGAZINE
HERE IN 2017 I AM NOW COVERING EVENTS AT A VENUE IN CLEETHORPES, LINCOLNSHIRE
